Alba Iulia City Hall Facebook page blocking controversy

Residents, journalists, and former local councilors in Alba Iulia have raised concerns regarding the official Facebook page of the Alba Iulia City Hall. Multiple users claim they have been blocked from interacting with or commenting on the institution's posts.

Local journalist Andrei Barbu reported that his page associated with the show ‘Fapte și Vorbe’ has been restricted for approximately two months, noting that a similar restriction occurred about six months ago. Additionally, former municipal councilors Dorin Petruțiu and Rareș Buglea claim they can no longer post comments on the official page. These individuals suggest the restrictions followed their expression of critical opinions regarding the local administration. Other users have also reported similar issues, stating their messages were critical but did not contain insults or offensive language.
