Alba Iulia mental health center to undergo modernization

The mental health center for the prevention and treatment of addictions in Alba Iulia is set to undergo modernization. The facility, located on the second floor of the former polyclinic on Mușețelului Street, will be repartitioned and renovated to meet required medical service standards.

The investment project, titled ‘Modernization and equipping the mental health center for the prevention and treatment of addictions for adults’, covers a useful area of approximately 603.90 square meters. The total estimated investment value is 4,574,870.59 lei, including VAT, with construction and assembly works accounting for 2,418,500.81 lei.

The project is expected to take 18 months to execute and is funded through the Health Program. Currently in the Documentation for Approval of Intervention Works (DALI) phase, the project is scheduled for approval by the Alba County Council. The center consists of three main departments: a mental health center for children, a mental health center for adults, and an addiction prevention department.
