Spanish provinces allocate funds for municipal development and infrastructure

Various Spanish provincial councils are allocating significant funds to support local municipalities through diverse development and infrastructure projects.

In Badajoz, approximately 555,000 euros have been granted to 194 entities to promote tourism, including specific support for aquatic environments. In Albacete, 400,000 euros are being distributed among 69 municipalities for sustainability projects aligned with the 2030 Agenda, covering areas such as energy efficiency and environmental recovery.

In Alicante, over 9.1 million euros are designated for the Alto and Medio Vinalopó regions to cover municipal operating costs and stimulate local consumption. Meanwhile, the Diputación de Valencia has approved 10.2 million euros for 65 projects across 50 municipalities, including improvements to sports facilities and senior centers.

Local infrastructure works are also underway, such as a 300,000 euro paving project in Cifuentes and nearly 280,000 euros for urban improvements in Los Barrios. Additionally, Quart de les Valls is implementing traffic reorganization to improve mobility and safety within its urban core.
