Albacete health center to replace 31-year-old climate control system

The Zona 5 Health Center in Albacete is set to undergo a complete renovation of its climate control system. SESCAM has opened a tender for the project with a budget of 18,755.92 euros to replace a heat pump that has been in operation since June 1994.

The current 31-year-old system has faced frequent breakdowns and declining performance, leading to numerous complaints from both staff and patients, particularly during recent high temperatures. The planned intervention involves dismantling the old unit, installing a new heating and cooling system, performing necessary structural works, and ensuring the new installation is fully operational and legalized.
