Albacete hosts free family musical ‘¡Chapuzón!’ during Verano Cultural

The Albacete City Council will present the musical ‘¡Chapuzón! Un musical pasado por agua’ on Monday, 20 July, at 20:00 in the Plaza Depósitos del Sol. The show, staged by the Itea Benedicto company, is part of the city’s Verano Cultural programme and is offered free of charge.

Designed as an interactive outdoor performance, the production features pirates, mermaids and other sea‑themed characters. Audience members of all ages are invited to sing, play and take part in the action, culminating in a surprise finale where water becomes the star, soaking spectators in a playful effort to beat the summer heat.

The event aims to provide a refreshing, family‑friendly cultural experience and to encourage community participation in Albacete’s summer activities.
