Albacete launches sustainability awards for schools
The Diputación de Albacete has launched a new edition of the Provincial Agenda 2030 School Award (A2030E). The initiative, presided over by Santi Cabañero, aims to recognize and incentivize the commitment of schools and institutes toward sustainability.
The program features a total budget of 30,000 euros and is organized into four categories. These categories are designed to accommodate various levels of experience, ranging from schools just beginning to implement the A2030E methodology to those with established long-term programs. The initiative is open to all non-university educational centers in the province.
In the primary category, up to six educational centers can receive 1,500 euros each, totaling 9,000 euros for that group. Winners will also receive a commemorative plaque and the planting of an olive tree as a symbol of their commitment to sustainable development.
