Albacete to build new beach volleyball court in Vereda
The Mayor of Albacete, Manuel Serrano, has announced the tender for the construction of a new beach volleyball court in the Vereda neighborhood. The project involves a municipal investment of 121,934 euros and is expected to be completed within three months.
The initiative aims to transform a degraded dirt basketball court into a modern, high-quality sports facility. The new court will feature a silica sand playing area, a 3.5-meter high perimeter fence with access control, and an integrated lighting system for extended use. Additionally, the facility will include a drainage network, a watering system for hot weather, and provisions for future public address systems or portable scoreboards. This project follows a participatory process with local residents to improve neighborhood infrastructure and promote healthy lifestyles.
