Albacete to invest 205,000 euros in library renovations

The Albacete City Council has approved a 205,000 euro project to repair and improve accessibility at the Depósitos del Sol Municipal Library. The works, expected to last four months, include cleaning facades, repairing roofs, and enhancing access to entrances and restrooms.

The library, located in Plaza del Sol, is a unique complex that repurposed former water reservoirs 25 years ago. The renovation aims to maintain the historic structure and ensure full accessibility and comfort for its many users, including students and local readers.
