Albacete traffic park trains over 4,300 children in road safety

The ‘Rubén Bravo’ Traffic Park in Albacete has reached a milestone, training 4,374 children over the last twelve months. During the 25/26 school year, 3,923 students from 50 public and private schools participated in the program.

In addition to the academic year, the facility continued its operations throughout the summer, providing road safety training to 451 children from 21 summer schools and neighborhood associations. Security Councilor Alberto Reina described the park as an ‘irreplaceable tool’ for promoting safer urban coexistence, sustainable mobility, and accident reduction.

The program, supported by the Albacete Local Police, focuses on teaching children the meaning of traffic signs, the importance of following rules as both pedestrians and drivers, and the correct use of safety equipment such as helmets for bicycle use.
