Albacete's Caritas Tómbola launches 2024 edition with 801,232 tickets and 180,000 prizes

The Caritas Diocesan Tómbola of Albacete opened ticket sales on Thursday, 6 August 2024, at the Paseo de la Feria. The charity lottery will sell 801,232 tickets, about 65,000 more than the previous year, and offers 180,000 direct prizes.

Extraordinary prizes include a Fiat 500 Hybrid and a two‑person trip to Rome. The event is backed by the local bank Globalcaja, which funds ticket printing, and was presented by Caritas secretary‑general Antonio García Blanquer alongside mayor Manuel Serrano, Globalcaja’s institutional relations head Antonio González, and Caritas delegate José Antonio Abellán. Organisers note the edition marks the lead‑up to the 75th anniversary of the Tómbola, scheduled for 2027.
