Albania protests enter 97th day amid calls for government resignation

Protesters in Albania have entered the 97th day of demonstrations, gathering in front of the Criminal Court to support individuals arrested during recent clashes with police near the Prime Minister's office. The demonstrators are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the departure of the current government.

IT expert Gent Progni criticized the use of legal measures against citizens, stating that the law should not be used as a weapon against the public or a shield for those in power. He highlighted that the court recently considered certain recent arrests to be illegal and called for transparency regarding police footage to investigate allegations of violence against protesters.
