Albania is experiencing several positive economic trends, including a decline in unemployment to 8.4% and one of the lowest inflation rates in the Western Balkans at 2.7%. Income per capita is projected to rise to 12,200 euros by the end of 2026, up from 11,355 euros in 2025, with a long-term target of 15,000 euros by 2029.

In the media sector, the television market shows significant concentration. Data indicates that the top two broadcasters, TV Klan and Top Channel, account for approximately 63% of the total revenue among major channels. TV Klan leads the market with 2.3 billion lek, followed by Top Channel with 1.95 billion lek. Other notable earners include Vizion Plus, ABC News, and Report TV. The total revenue for the television sector reached approximately 6.8 billion lek, or nearly 70 million euros, marking a slight increase from the previous year.
