The Albania U-16 national team secured a 1-0 victory against Montenegro U-16 in a friendly match held at the Loro Boriçi stadium in Shkodër. After a scoreless first half, Avdylaj scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute with a long-range strike.

Coach Armand Dama utilized the match to evaluate players and test different formations as part of the team's preparations. The two sides are scheduled to meet again for a second friendly match in Montenegro on August 27.
