Albanian businesses report 3.44 million euros in protest damages

Businesses affected by recent protests have begun the official process of declaring administrative and financial losses. According to the General Directorate of Taxes, online declarations have reached a total of 3.44 million euros across 116 applications.

To facilitate this process, authorities have launched a dedicated service called “Dëmi im” (My Damage), accessible via the e-Albania government portal and the official Tax Administration website. The Tax Administration is utilizing a dual control mechanism to monitor the situation of affected commercial entities.

In addition to online filings, the General Directorate of Taxes has deployed 10 field teams to verify the accuracy of the submitted data. These teams are conducting on-site inspections while officials simultaneously review documentation to build a comprehensive registry of the damages.
