Albanian Cultural Center to open at Brăila Carol I Museum
The Albanian Cultural Center of the Lower Danube will be officially inaugurated on October 26 at the Carol I Museum in Brăila. Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Romania in collaboration with the museum, the event is part of the Albanian European Week and the ‘Albanian November 2026’ project cycle.
The ceremony will feature the presence of Enkeleda Mërkuri, the Albanian Ambassador to Bucharest, alongside local authorities, artists, and cultural figures. The establishment of the center is intended to strengthen historical ties and friendship between Romania and Albania by promoting Albanian language, literature, traditions, and visual arts, while serving as a space for multicultural dialogue in the Lower Danube region.
