Albanian Culture Days conclude with poetry and music recital in Craiova

The eighth edition of ‘Albanian Culture Days’ concluded at the Albanian League in Romania (ALAR) Cultural Center in Craiova with a recital featuring poetry and violin music.

Actor Angel Rababoc performed verses from the anthology ‘Păpușile în concediu – o antologie a poeziei albaneze de la începuturi până azi’ (Dolls on Vacation – an anthology of Albanian poetry from the beginning to today), which was published by ALAR’s Asdreni Publishing House. The poetic readings were accompanied by instrumental performances from Geo Fabian, a violinist with the ‘Oltenia’ Philharmonic.

The anthology, compiled by Luan Topciu and Renata Melonashi-Topciu, provides a historical overview of Albanian lyricism, ranging from early forms to contemporary poetry, translated into Romanian to facilitate cultural exchange.
