Albanian culture: Zhuliana Jorganxhi celebrates 80th birthday

Albanian lyricist Zhuliana Jorganxhi is celebrating her 80th birthday. Over her career, she has written approximately 3,000 song lyrics, contributing significantly to Albanian musical culture through themes of love, longing, and freedom.

In other cultural news, the Fest Folk 2026 tour continued in Durrës. The National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances performed a concert at Taulantia Square, featuring 30 artists performing traditional folk music and dances. The tour, which has previously visited Vlorë, Laç, and Sarandë, is scheduled to arrive in Gjirokastër on August 13.
