Albanian health authorities deny ambulance tear gas claims

The Albanian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and the National Center of Emergency Medical Services (QKUM) have categorically denied social media reports claiming that ambulances are being used to transport tear gas.

Authorities stated that medical teams and vehicles are deployed solely to provide rapid assistance to individuals in need of urgent medical care. The Ministry emphasized that these claims are false information circulating on social networks.

QKUM further warned that obstructing traffic or committing acts of violence against ambulances and medical staff delays emergency interventions, directly endangering the lives of patients and the safety of medical personnel.
