Albanian National Football Team supports young fan battling brain cancer

A young fan named Joni, who has been battling brain cancer, received significant emotional support from the Albanian National Football Team. After his family reached out to the Albanian Football Association (FSHF) requesting a motivational message before his urgent surgery, midfielder Kristjan Asllani responded with a video within three hours.

Following his treatment and chemotherapy, the FSHF continued to support Joni by arranging messages from several players, including Asllani, Hysaj, Mitaj, Strakosha, Hoxha, and Shehu. Joni was also invited to attend the Albania–Belarus match, where he met the players at their hotel and had the opportunity to walk onto the pitch alongside Kristjan Asllani before the game began.
