Albany twin brothers win $1 million lottery jackpot

Twin brothers from Albany, Western Australia, have won a major lottery prize for the second time in approximately two years. The 65-year-old pair recently secured a $1 million Millionaire Medley jackpot through Lotterywest.

This follows a previous win in February 2025, where they won a Set for Life prize consisting of $20,000 per month for 20 years plus a $200,000 lump sum. The brothers noted that their first win allowed them to purchase their sister’s home.

One brother explained that the second win occurred after a cancelled dentist appointment prompted an extra trip to Clark’s Newsagency to purchase his usual numbers. The pair intends to use the new windfall to pay off their property and purchase caravans to travel around Australia during retirement.
