Albardón authorities investigate death of local merchant

The body of Jorge Chávez, a 60-year-old merchant and former employee of Distribuidora Montaña, was discovered on Saturday in Albardón. The discovery occurred in a utility vehicle parked on Rawson Street, near the intersection with Amarfil.

Preliminary investigations by police and judicial authorities found no signs of violence, such as gunshot wounds, knife marks, or physical aggression, nor were there signs of a recent traffic accident involving the vehicle. While initial assessments suggest the death may have been due to natural causes, the body has been transferred to the Provincial Judicial Morgue. An autopsy and further forensic studies will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
