Albayrak Hazır Beton IPO approved as Turkish market shows cautious investor interest

The Turkish Capital Markets Board (SPK) has approved the public offering of Albayrak Hazır Beton, a 23‑year‑old ready‑mix concrete and construction firm. The company will issue shares worth 70 million Turkish lira at a price of 38.60 TL per share under the ticker ALBTN on Borsa İstanbul. The offering includes a 49 million TL capital increase and a 21 million TL share sale, which together are expected to raise about 2.7 billion TL and lift the company’s capital from 201 million TL to 250 million TL, with a public float of roughly 28 percent.

At the same time, activity in Turkey’s IPO market remains robust but investors are becoming more selective. A total of 157 companies have pending SPK applications, while 21 firms have completed IPOs in the first half of the year, accounting for about 48.3 billion TL (≈ 1 billion USD) in total issuance. The market’s cautious tone reflects broader geopolitical uncertainties and a shift toward more prudent investment strategies.
