Albert Heijn Toolenburg to undergo complete renovation

The Albert Heijn supermarket located in the Toolenburg shopping center in Hoofddorp is undergoing a complete renovation. The store will close on Thursday, August 27, at 4:00 PM to allow for interior remodeling.

The redesigned layout will focus on expanding the fresh food selection and introducing more variety, including sushi, halal products, and snacks. Additionally, a new coffee and tea to-go station will be installed at the entrance.

The renovated store is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, September 8, at 11:00 AM with a celebratory event. During the renovation period, customers are advised to visit nearby Albert Heijn locations in Hoofddorp and Nieuw-Vennep. To prevent food waste, any remaining fresh or frozen products at the time of closure will be donated to the Haarlemmermeer Food Bank.
