Albert Riera announces Crvena zvezda rotations and calls for UEFA probe

Crvena zvezda coach Albert Riera has announced squad rotations for the upcoming Serbian Superliga match against Mladost Lučani. The decision follows a demanding European trip and a recent match against Lugano. Riera emphasized the necessity of using the entire squad to maintain competitive rhythm and manage player fatigue, stating, “Trophies are not won with 11, 12, or 13 players, but it is necessary to use the whole team.”

Due to injuries and recovery protocols, players Lukasen and Loizu will be unavailable for the match. Riera expressed satisfaction with the players' recovery progress but noted the physical challenges of playing every three days.

Additionally, Riera called for an investigation by UEFA regarding officiating decisions in recent European fixtures. He specifically cited a controversial penalty awarded in the 95th minute during a match in Plzeň and a recent penalty against Lugano, suggesting that the club should investigate whether there is a bias against them in European competitions.
