Alberta Ferretti presents SS27 collection in Milan

Lorenzo Serafini presented the Alberta Ferretti Spring-Summer 2027 collection during Milan Fashion Week, emphasizing fluidity, lightness, and a carefree aesthetic. Moving away from strict tailoring, the collection focused on freedom of movement through slip dresses, fluid trousers, kimono jackets, and balloon-style pants.

The designs drew artistic inspiration from the 1920s, referencing figures such as Léon Bakst and George Balanchine. Serafini introduced a more vibrant color palette than seen in previous works, incorporating saturated blues, teal, rust, and mustard, alongside softer tones like lilac, pistachio, and powder pink.

Textural elements played a significant role, featuring feathering, metallic threads, and floral patterns on shifting Japanese fabrics. To reinforce the relaxed theme, models walked with an easy, beach-like gait rather than a traditional runway strut, often wearing flat shoes to complement the brand's romantic and feminine codes.
