Alberta man sentenced to 3.5 years for cocaine trafficking
Devon Salisbury, a 38-year-old man from Alberta, has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking in Norman Wells. Salisbury received credit for 762 days spent in pre-sentencing custody.
The charges stem from a May 2025 incident where the RCMP arrested Salisbury and co-accused Robert Webber at an Airbnb following reports from a property owner regarding suspected drug trafficking. During the investigation, police discovered drugs, trafficking paraphernalia, and a handgun-style magazine with ammunition.
