Alberta RCMP investigate homicide of 12-year-old Edmonton resident

The RCMP are investigating the death of Fiasal Hussein, a 12-year-old resident of Edmonton, after human remains were discovered in northern Alberta.

Following the discovery of the remains near the northern hamlet of Calling Lake early last Thursday, an autopsy was conducted. The chief medical examiner has since ruled the death a homicide.

Investigators in Athabasca are requesting that anyone who may have captured footage on dash cams near Calling Lake or the surrounding areas early Thursday morning contact the police to assist with the investigation.
