Alberto Fernández visits Universidad Torcuato Di Tella

Former President Alberto Fernández visited the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella to participate in a discussion with students organized by the student group Club Política. During the event, Fernández addressed the challenges and lessons of his administration from 2019 to 2023, covering topics such as regional relations, the crisis within Peronism, pandemic-era decision-making, and the “vacunatorio VIP” controversy.

Fernández emphasized the importance of mutual listening, noting that such dialogue is increasingly rare in the current Argentine context. The visit also drew comparisons to past comments made by current President Javier Milei. Eight years ago, while working as an economist, Milei posted on social media that the university had been “invaded by the sons of Keynes,” criticizing the prevalence of Keynesian economic theories that advocate for state intervention.
