Alberto Mantovani to discuss anatomy and AI in Modena

Immunologist and oncologist Alberto Mantovani will lead a lecture titled ‘Anatomy Lesson’ on September 2 at Piazza Sant’Agostino. Part of the ‘Curioso. Domande, persone, scoperte’ series, the event explores the evolution of human anatomy and medical practices, ranging from classical dissection to modern applications of artificial intelligence.

The lecture is organized by the Fondazione di Modena and Unimore for the University Museums as part of the Estate Modenese festival. Mantovani, the scientific director of Humanitas Research Hospital, will discuss how understanding the human body has shaped medicine and the concept of being human.
