Alberto Martín Del Valle arrested in Florencio Varela after 14 years on the run
Alberto Martín Del Valle, a 56-year-old man, was arrested in Florencio Varela after being a fugitive since 2012. He is accused of the sexual abuse of his stepdaughter in Puán in 2009, when the victim was 11 years old.
According to investigators, the abuse was accompanied by death threats and the imposition of a false narrative to ensure silence. The victim became pregnant as a result of the abuse, and Del Valle allegedly attempted to force a clandestine abortion. A subsequent DNA test confirmed Del Valle as the biological father with 99.9% certainty.
During his years as a fugitive, Del Valle reportedly used various aliases, including “Martín Morales” and “Martín Lescano,” and moved through different regions of the country. Authorities also suspect he may have received assistance from a relative who is a former member of the Federal Police. The Buenos Aires Security Ministry had previously offered a 10 million peso reward for information leading to his capture.
