Alberto Peruzzo Foundation expands contemporary art project

The Alberto Peruzzo Foundation has announced a new phase for its cultural project, aimed at expanding its role in the modern and contemporary art landscape. The expansion includes significant new acquisitions from artists such as Anselm Kiefer, Jannis Kounellis, Robert Longo, and Carl Andre.

To support this growth, the Foundation is establishing its first scientific committee and developing two complementary exhibition spaces in Italy. The former Church of Sant’Agnese will host a new exhibition path starting November 6, featuring a selection of works from the collection, including three new acquisitions.

Additionally, the Foundation is restoring Palazzo Lanza, a 2,500-square-meter historic building in the center of Padua, which is intended to house the entire collection. Restoration of Palazzo Lanza is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The collection, which began in the late 1980s, currently comprises over 180 works by Italian and international artists.
