Alberto Sordi honored with Lazio theater tour and Chamber exhibition
The Italian actor Alberto Sordi is being honored through both theatrical and exhibition initiatives. A theatrical project titled 'La Romanità che Unisce il Lazio', created by MOOVO S. r. l. and supported by the Lazio Region, is launching a tour across various provinces. The centerpiece, 'Sotto casa di Alberto', directed by Fabrizio Giannini and Fabrizio Sabatucci, features live music and performances intended to bring the memory of Sordi’s cinematic career to smaller towns and urban peripheries.
Scheduled performances include dates in Carbognano, Roccagorga, Fiuggi, and Rome. The production aims to move from the actor's historic residence to the local communities of the spectators.
Additionally, the 'Secret' exhibition is being hosted at the Chamber of Deputies. This exhibition seeks to present a more private and intimate portrait of Sordi, moving beyond his public persona and iconic cinematic roles to explore the man behind the myth.
