Albinea to inaugurate new Carabinieri station

A formal ceremony will be held on October 16, 2026, in Albinea to inaugurate and name the new Carabinieri station located on Via Vittorio Emanuele II. The project was completed through a public-private partnership involving the Municipality of Albinea, Ghg Real Estate/Grasselli SpA, and the Simonazzi Architecture Studio.

The station will be named in honor of Brigadier Pasquale Iscaro, a posthumous recipient of the Gold Medal for Military Valor. Iscaro was recognized for his extraordinary courage on July 28, 1998, in Luzzara, where he engaged a group of bank robbers despite being seriously wounded in a shootout.

The event will include military honors, a wreath-laying ceremony for the fallen, the raising of the national flag, and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque dedicated to Iscaro.
