Albinuța Kindergarten in Dănceni undergoes major renovation

The Albinuța kindergarten-nursery in Dănceni, Ialoveni District, has undergone a major capital renovation through the second edition of the National Program ‘European Village’. The project, valued at nearly 4.8 million lei, included thermal insulation of the building, a complete roof replacement, and landscaping of the grounds.

The renovation was funded by the state budget through the National Fund for Regional and Local Development, which allocated 3.63 million lei, while the Dănceni local administration contributed approximately 1.1 million lei. The facility, originally built in the 1980s, had suffered from significant degradation, particularly regarding roof leaks that disrupted educational processes.

The completed works will benefit 130 children and 34 employees. During the reception of the works, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolea emphasized that investing in early childhood education aims to improve conditions for children while supporting rural families and encouraging young people to remain in their local communities.
