Albisola Superiore approves redevelopment of PalaBesio sports hall

The Municipality of Albisola Superiore has finalized an administrative agreement with SSD Albisola Pallavolo to begin the redevelopment and management of the ‘Angelo Besio’ sports hall. This project follows Legislative Decree 38/2021, aimed at modernizing and regenerating sports facilities through public-private partnerships.

Under the long-term management agreement, SSD Albisola Pallavolo will invest in the facility to implement upgrades, regeneration, and modernization. The initiative seeks to improve social inclusion and youth engagement. This marks the first stage of a broader municipal plan that includes future concessions for other sports facilities, such as football pitches, with a focus on environmental sustainability and the removal of architectural barriers for people with disabilities.
