Albolote allocates 2.47 million euros for infrastructure

The Albolote City Council has announced the allocation of 2.47 million euros from 2025 treasury surpluses to various infrastructure and municipal service investments. This initiative, part of the ‘Albolote Crece+’ plan, builds upon 5.5 million euros previously announced in February.

Key components of the investment include:

• 1 million euros for the second phase of the El Chaparral sports complex, which will include a seven-a-side football field. The project is currently awaiting authorization from the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederation.

• 800,000 euros for new facilities for the Local Police and Civil Protection to improve operational capacity and working conditions.

• 600,000 euros for the renovation of grass on the seven-a-side and eleven-a-side football fields to enhance user safety and training quality.
