Albtal-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft and Arverio Baden-Württemberg Hold First Joint Control‑Center Exchange in Karlsruhe

The Albtal‑Verkehrs‑Gesellschaft (AVG) hosted a delegation from Arverio Baden‑Württemberg at its control centre in Karlsruhe. Seven Arverio staff, including Leitstellenleiter Enrico Spranger, personal manager Christoph Lorenzen and train driver/on‑site representative Onur Tekeci, met with AVG officials led by Oliver Becker, head of operations who previously worked for Arverio.

The talks focused on coordinating daily rail operations, harmonising software platforms such as DatNet and IVU, and optimising joint processes on shared regional rail infrastructure. Both companies highlighted the potential for synergies that would improve service for passengers. A reciprocal visit to Arverio’s facilities in Essingen near Aalen is planned for the following year to continue the exchange.
