Al‑Buhayrah Governor Inspects Damanhour High School Exam Centers

Dr. Jacqueline Aaser, governor of Egypt’s Al‑Buhayrah governorate, carried out a site inspection on Sunday at several high‑school examination centers in Damanhour. She visited the Military High School, which operates 22 sub‑centers serving 428 students, and the school named after martyr Ahmed Behjat Mena, with 23 sub‑centers for 451 female students, to verify that the exam environment was calm and orderly.

The governor noted that the governorate runs 113 exam centers across 18 education districts, accommodating about 48,720 students in various streams (literature, science, and sports). Preparations include 41 rest houses for supervisors (615 beds for men, 264 for women), a main operations room linked to subsidiary rooms for round‑the‑clock monitoring, and coordination with security, traffic, sanitation, civil‑protection, electricity backup, and health services. Each center has a designated doctor or health visitor and an equipped ambulance. The inspection aimed to ensure all logistical and safety measures were in place for the exams, which began on 21 June and will continue until 16 July.
