Alcalá de Guadaíra reports 17.5% increase in tourism visits
Alcalá de Guadaíra has recorded more than 26,000 visits to its tourist and heritage sites during the first half of 2026, representing a 17.5% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
The Castillo de Alcalá remains the primary attraction, seeing a 42% increase in visitors with over 13,000 recorded. This growth is attributed to the implementation of ornamental lighting, which allows for nocturnal visits and expanded guided tours on Fridays and Saturdays.
Other notable sites include the Molino de la Mina, which saw 4,500 visits (a 22% increase), and the Museum with approximately 4,000 visitors. However, some locations, such as the Tourism Office and La Harinera del Guadaíra, experienced declines between 5% and 15% due to ongoing works.
