Cultural festivals held across Spain and Chile

Various regional cultural festivals and celebrations are taking place across Spain and Chile.

In Chile, the fourteenth edition of Feria Al Cateo will be held from September 25 to 27 at Casacostanera. Organized by Casacostanera and Fundación Cultores, the event honors Chilean circus traditions following UNESCO's recognition of the craft as Intangible Cultural Heritage. The fair will feature over 60 stands, including circus-themed art and various artisan crafts supported by INDAP.

In Spain, several local festivities are underway. Cartagena is hosting the Gran Circo Máximo at the Estadio Cartagonova, featuring mythological reenactments and gladiatorial combat. In Alcalá de Gurrea, the fourth Tierras de Qala't scenic encounter concluded with performances in circus, dance, and theater. Other local events include the Santos Mártires festivities in Carrandi, the Verbena de la Leña in Cabrejas del Pinar, and the Fiestas de Otoño in Cabanillas. Additionally, the 'Circo se escribe sin H' festival is returning to Quinto, offering contemporary circus workshops and shows.
