Alcalá de Henares reopens historic Casa de la Entrevista as visitor center

The historic Casa de la Entrevista in Alcalá de Henares has been transformed into a multipurpose Visitor Reception Center following an extensive renovation. Part of the 2023–2026 Tourism Sustainability Plan, the project aims to modernize the city's tourist reception while maintaining the building's traditional cultural functions.

The renovated space features a central area equipped with immersive audiovisual technology designed to introduce visitors to the local history and heritage. In addition to its role as a tourist gateway, the building will serve as a venue for exhibitions, cultural activities, meetings, and small congresses. The exhibition space will debut with a display of painting and sculpture by artist Andrés Alcántara.

The inauguration was led by Mayor Judith Piquet and attended by representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and the Community of Madrid.
