Alcatraz Festival announces 50 new artists for 2027 line-up

The Alcatraz Festival has announced 50 new artists for its 2027 edition, scheduled to take place from August 5 to August 8 in Kortrijk, Belgium. This latest wave of additions brings the total number of confirmed acts to 80 out of a planned 124 bands.

New additions to the line-up include American rockers Skillet, German metalcore group Heaven Shall Burn, and Venom (featuring Mantas and Abaddon). Other confirmed performers include Gogol Bordello, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Russian Circles, Possessed, Six Feet Under, and John 5. The festival will feature a diverse range of heavy genres, including black metal, death metal, hardcore, and progressive metal, spread across four stages: Prison, Helldorado, Swamp, and La Morgue.

These new names join an earlier group of announced artists such as Europe, Mercyful Fate, Halestorm, and Dethklok. Organizers indicated that more major names are expected to be announced in the near future.
