Alcácer do Sal assesses flood damages and announces choir season

In Alcácer do Sal, Portugal, the municipality is conducting a financial assessment regarding damages caused by major floods earlier this year. The total estimated loss is 80 million euros. The local government is managing funds from various entities, including 2,186,250 euros received from the Environmental Fund, to repair municipal buildings, public spaces, roads, and watercourses.

Additionally, the Coral Almira choir has announced its new season, which begins on September 18 in Badajoz. The upcoming schedule includes various musical performances and community meetings in Alcácer do Sal and surrounding areas, with specific events planned for October, December, and the Christmas season.
