ALCEC holds 14th Solidarity Marathon in Concepción del Uruguay

The 14th ALCEC Solidarity Marathon and Walk took place in Concepción del Uruguay to raise funds for the Association for the Fight Against Cancer. The event featured several categories, including a competitive 10-kilometer race, a 4-kilometer recreational walk, and a 1-kilometer race for children.

To support the organization, the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay provided a non-reimbursable subsidy of 6 million pesos to cover organizational expenses. ALCEC, founded in 1965, is a non-profit organization dedicated to cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. The institution operates a specialized high-technology center and a transit home for patients and families, performing over 12,000 consultations and 700 oncological treatments annually.
