Alci Acosta remains stable following medical intervention

Renowned bolero and ballad singer Alci Acosta, 87, remains under medical supervision following his admission to the intensive care unit at the Clínica La Misericordia Internacional in Barranquilla on August 30.

His son, Checo Acosta, provided an update via Instagram stating that the singer is currently stable and under conservative management. The medical issues involved kidney and prostate complications, which required professional intervention. Checo Acosta noted that secretions have been controlled and expressed gratitude for the support from followers and the music community. The family is currently awaiting further test results to determine if his condition improves enough to move him from intensive care to a standard hospital room.
