Alcoi changes selection process for Three Kings Parade poster

The Alcoi City Council has announced a change in how the official poster for the Three Kings Parade (Cavalcada dels Reis Mags) is selected. Moving away from the previous contest-based model, the municipality will now directly appoint the artist responsible for the design.

Festival Councilor Jordi Martínez stated that the goal of this shift is to ensure the poster more accurately reflects the unique traditions, identity, and collective imagination of Christmas in Alcoi. The council aims to create an image that connects deeply with the local community and conveys the specific symbols and emotions that characterize the city's holiday celebrations.
