Alcoi police arrest six for 200,000 euro industrial theft
The Spanish National Police have arrested six individuals—five men and one woman—in Alcoi following a major theft from an industrial warehouse. The stolen machinery, tools, and electrical materials are valued at approximately 200,000 euros.
Investigators determined that the suspects gained entry to the facility by cutting a large hole in a wall from an adjacent abandoned warehouse. The theft, which occurred in broad daylight, involved the removal of lighting equipment, aluminum blocks, electronic boards, and workshop machinery. The owner discovered the breach after being alerted by an acquaintance who witnessed people loading materials into a vehicle.
Police recovered a portion of the stolen goods at a local scrapyard in Alcoi, where the victims identified the items as their own property.
