Alcon launches Clareon PanOptix Pro intraocular lens in Brazil

Alcon announced the launch in Brazil of its new trifocal intraocular lens, the Clareon® PanOptix® Pro. The lens incorporates the ENLIGHTEN® NXT optical technology, which the company says provides 94% light utilization and improves contrast and visual quality across all distances.

Mayra Rodriguez, Alcon Brazil Country Manager and Head of the Surgical Franchise, said the product reflects the company's ongoing commitment to develop technologies that deliver better visual outcomes for cataract surgery patients. The lens builds on the widely adopted PanOptix platform, which has seen more than 175 million Alcon intraocular lenses implanted worldwide.

Canadian ophthalmologist Dr. Rosa Braga‑Mele praised the advancement, noting reduced light scatter and enhanced visual performance in her patients who received the Clareon PanOptix Pro.
