Alcon has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved BRYTLY Redness Reliever Eye Drops. The over-the-counter product is designed to significantly reduce eye redness within one minute, providing results that can last up to 12 hours.

According to the company, BRYTLY lasts up to 50% longer than Lumify and contains no bleaches or dyes. Clinical studies indicated a low risk of redness rebound and tachyphylaxis when the product is used as directed. The approval expands Alcon’s consumer eyecare portfolio, targeting the intersection of beauty and wellness routines.
