Alcover restaurant building destroyed by major fire

A major fire has severely damaged the former ‘El Álamo’ restaurant building in Alcover. The blaze, which began on the building's facade, spread to other parts of the complex located near the TV-7041 road.

Nine firefighting crews from the Bombers de la Generalitat were deployed to contain the flames. Emergency services reported a high fuel load inside the structure and focused efforts on preventing the fire from spreading to surrounding areas. While the facade has been almost completely destroyed, there is no immediate information regarding injuries, though local residents have raised concerns regarding potential occupants within the building.
